Luminous Power Technologies concludes its month-long virtual music contest

Luminous Power Technologies, a powerful and trustworthy brand with a wide range of innovative products in the power backup, home electrical and residential solar space, culminates its month-long virtual contest – ‘Super Singer 2’ today. The legendary singer and Padma Shri, Usha Uthup judged the shortlisted contestants and announced the winners in a live gala music event organised by Luminous. The event was organised to engage with the vast dealer network amid the global pandemic and further strengthen Company’s relation with them during this unprecedented time. 

The Company received more than 16 thousand song entries received on the Luminous app from dealership network of Luminous across India including their families. Mr Rohit Kataria, the Owner of Kataria Music Academy, Jaipur, Rajasthan has helped the Company to shortlist best 20 entries.  The 20 shortlisted entries were further reduced to 10 finalists by Usha Uthup Ji to perform at the ‘Super Singer’ gala event, judged by the pop diva herself. Like several other initiatives of Luminous, ‘Super Singer’ contest is also aimed at spreading happiness and illuminating people’s lives amid the current pandemic situation.

Enthralled by the live performances given at the Luminous ‘Super Singer’ finale, Usha Uthup Ji says, “I am honoured to be a part of this soulful and energetic music contest. I am awestruck to see such good talent hidden within our country. I extend my gratitude towards Luminous that has chosen music to connect with its extended family during these difficult times. In order to further support the upcoming talent within the Luminous ecosystem, the three winners Sakshi Rawoot (Veetrag Enterprises), Jodhpur,(Rajasthan); Gopalakrishnan (Ashok Brothers), Sivagangai  (Tamilnadu); Castro (Ameesha traders), Thiruvithancode (Tamilnadu); received the cash prizes and trophies. 

One of the most loved comedians on Indian television today, Sugandha Mishra, also entertained people with her live performance during the finale. The grand finale of “Super Singer’ contest witnessed by more than 3 Lakhs viewers from all parts of the country.
