Maggie Wong as the new CEO of Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong

Maggie Wong will become the new CEO of Wunderman Thompson in Hong Kong.

Maggie Wong comes to Wunderman Thompson from Publicis Worldwide & Leo Burnett, where she served as Managing Director of the Hong Kong division and helped the agency achieve tremendous growth. Wong built an inspiring multi-disciplinary team, won high-profile new business, and launched data-driven initiatives for global and local clients during her time there.

With over 17+ years of experience, Wong has worked with established international brands across various industries including Expedia, Lexus, Pizza Hut, HKT and Standard Chartered.

Wong said: “Wunderman Thompson HK has established an excellent base with a diverse blend of talents and capabilities to turbocharge the next chapter of growth. I’m hugely excited to be joining the wonderful team and by the prospect of what we can achieve together.”

The news comes after former Managing Director Matthew Parry makes the move to Australia joining Wunderman Thompson Sydney as Managing Director.

 “Matt leaves to Maggie a strong and successful agency, with a great team and clients. And I’m thrilled that Matt continues to grow his career in the Wunderman Thompson network.” Sturgeon concluded.

Maggie Wong will begin as CEO of Hong Kong in late October.
