Mahesh Krishnan joins HT Media as CRO - Print

Mahesh Krishnan has been roped in as Chief Revenue officer (CRO) – Print by HT Media Ltd. He will be responsible for both Hindustan and Hindustan Times revenue.

In his new role, he will be monitoring overall revenue of the company and will play a pivotal role in building customer relations with key clients. According to sources he will be directly reporting to Benoy Roychowdhury, Executive Director, Media Ltd.

HT Media has been going through various changes in a bid to compete with the ever changing dynamics in the print industry. It is rumoured that with the appointment of Krishnan quite a few changes in senior management team are anticipated. HT Media will shift Vishal Chaddha who is the Business Head, Media Marketing into a new role soon. Meanwhile, Sujoy Ghosh who is heading the West & South media marketing revenue function will report to Krishnan. While Ashok Bindra and Ambarish Bandyopadhyay who are the COO Mint and Head HH Revenue respectively will have dual reporting to Krishnan and also to their Business Head.

Before joining HT Media, Krishnan was heading the Home appliances business as Vice-President and Business head for Samsung India. Prior to that, he was also part of Philips Electronics as Vice-President and SO Bussiness Headr. He was heading the Consumer Lifestyle Business there.

Krishnan who is an alumni of IIM Bangalore has held senior positions with some of the renowned brands such as ITC, General Mills, Whirlpool and Goodyear in two decades of his impressive career journey.
