Mahira Khan back on Zindagi in Shehr-e-Zaat

It’s good news for all the Indian fans of Mahira as the queen of Pakistani dramas is all set to make a smashing comeback on Zindagi. The world and India fell in love with her as Khirad in the blockbuster hit – Humsafar and now Zindagi gives you a chance to fall in love with Mahira all over again as Falak in its upcoming drama - Shehr-e-Zaat.

Completely opposite to her character Khirad in Humsafar, Mahira plays the role of Falak, only child to affluent parents. She is an egoist who has always been the center of attention and has never been deprived of anything in life. During her growing up years, Falak never comes across through religious brightness and divinity and is highly influenced by her mother who built her subsistence according to the worldly life. A student of fine arts, Falak makes a sculpture of the man of her dreams and falls head over heels in love when she finds the breathing manifestation of it in Salman Ansar played by Mikaal Zulfiqar. But the more Falak tries to get close to Salman, the more he ignores her. Falak being a person who always gets what she wants finally manages to get married to Salman. But it is only after marrying Salman and facing the rejection after marriage; Falak goes through a journey of self-discovery.

Shehr E Zaat is a show revolving around beautiful day dreamer Falak who finds herself on the path of self-discovery. It’s the story of a girl who after facing bitter realities learns the true purpose of her life. The show highlights the transformation of Falak from being an egomaniac to adapting simplicity, patience and humbleness in her life.  The show has been directed by Sarmad Khoosat, who also helmed the master piece – Humsafar. With a stellar starcast including Samina Peerzada, Mohib Mirza, Hina Khawaja Bayat and Mikaal Zulfikar,   Shehr-e-Zaat is destined to be a great success with audiences in India.
