Malaysia Airlines appoints Amit Mehta as Area Manager -North & East India

Malaysia Airlines has appointed Amit Mehta as its Area Manager –North & East India region. He will be responsible for augmenting the airline’s operation in the northern and the eastern market in India.

Amit has been working with Malaysia Airlines since 2007 Sales Manager- North India region and brings with him 7 years of experience in sales.

Speaking on association, Azahar Hamid, Regional Senior Vice President, South Asia & Middle East – Malaysia Airlines said, “Amit has extensive experience with high achievements and excellent trade record. We are entrusting him with bigger role to move up our business to the next level’’

On his appointment, Mehta said, “I see tremendous opportunity for Malaysia Airlines in India. My focus is now on growing the business, continuing to delight Indian consumers with our offerings and strengthening our customer support system further for all flyers in India.”

Amit Mehta will focus on boosting Malaysia Airlines presence in the Indian market, driving global partnerships and strategic alliances. He will be completely taking charge of GTM strategy and sales operations for the North and East region of India.
