Manajit Ghoshal bids adieu to Mid-Day

Mid- Day CEO and Managing Director Mr. Manajit Ghoshal has put down his papers at  Jagran Prakashan Limited with immediate effect.  JPL is the holding company of the Mid-Day group of publications. This latest development was intimated to all the employees  by the Jagran group CEO Sanjay Gupta  on Friday, March 1.

Confirming the news to Adgully, Ghoshal said, “ Yep, it was  a terrific journey . I wish all the very best to Mid-Day for their future plans. Personally I am evaluating multiple options which will be made public shortly.”

It is believed that Cyriac Mathew will fill the present void at the company.

Ghoshal was elevated to CEO in 2008 and also appointed Managing Director of Mid-Day Infomedia in 2009 . He continued to hold charge of the operations when the Jagran group acquired the print and digital business while simultaneously reporting to the JPL management.

He has been appreciated at the company for raising the bar for his colleagues during his tenure at JPL.
