Manish Paul goes lean for Mickey Virus

Manish Paul has proved his mettle in the TV world, and now anchor-turned-actor is ready for his stint on the big screen. Known for anchoring shows such as Dance India Dance, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and India’s Got Talent, Manish Paul is excited about his Bollywood debut with filmmaker Saurabh Verma produced by DAR Motion Pictures "Mickey Virus".

Manish has lost 14 kilos for this film, and will be seen sporting 6 packs. He shares, “I’ve worked very hard to get this physique. It took me six months to get six packs. I followed an army-like regime and worked out like a maniac.”

Talking about this decision to venture into films, Manish, who is currently shooting in the city, says, “Like many others in the TV world, I always wanted to do films. However, I was not desperate to be in Bollywood and therefore waited for the right script and right time for it to happen.”
When asked about the film, he says, “It is a comic thriller. Audiences will get to see me doing comedy and much more. I hope people who have loved my anchoring continue to love my films.” However, Manish has no plans to quit the small screen. “I’m not quitting TV. As I am busy with my films, I am not doing TV as of now, but I’ll be back again,” he says.
