Manisha Rana joins Koovs as Chief Marketing Officer

Amid the festive season fervour, online shopping portal Koovs has beefed up its marketing division with the appointment of Manisha Rana as Chief Marketing Officer. Rana, who brings with her a rich experience of over 13 years in the industry, will be based out of Delhi.

In her new role, Rana will be responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce through differentiated and innovative products, marketing and customer experiences. Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to Adgully.

Prior to this, Rana had worked as an independent consultant for Magicbricks.com, Simplilearn.com, Bona Vita Technologies and Shoptoks.com. Before that, she was CMO at Magicbricks.com.

Rana started out in advertising, joining DDB Mudra’s client servicing division in 2003. She moved over to the corporate side with LG in April 2004, when she joined as Brand Manager – Kitchen Appliances. She has also worked with Spectramind Marketing, MakeMyTrip.com, Yahoo!, and Amazon.

Rana has extensive experience in managing all channels of marketing – online and traditional. She has been a proactive planner with cross-functional expertise in Strategic planning, Business Analysis, Research and Consumer Insight.
