Manu Kumar Jain unboxes Mi Beard Trimmer and engages digital natives

Xiaomi has launched it’s new entry in the grooming product sector exclusively for the Indian males. Manu Kumar Jain, Managing Director Xiaomi India introduced the new Mi Beard Trimer on the brands digital platform Mi.com.

Manu Kumar Jain reveals that the product will not be available in any other market. Priced for Rs 1,199, the product is sold online only via Mi's official website and will be available on Amazon from June 27.

Beard but Better is a simple yet unique product marketing video showcasing the Mi Beard Trimmer and its key features. The Trimmer is being promoted by the Mi Beard gang who are all employees of Xiaomi India. Akul Madhok, Quality Marketing member, Pallav Chikara, Assistant Manager at Xiaomi’s Events team, Chetan Warrior, Social Media Specialist, Abhishek Rana who is a Management Traineewho express their real-life challenges in a humorous and quirky depiction of four different individuals who have their own set of grooming expectations based on their respective lifestyles.

According to reports , a market research agency, suggests that the Indian male grooming market is about Rs 4,500 crore annually and nearly double in value by 2024. Some popular brands are Phillips, Panasonic, Vega Industries, Gillette, Havells, Syska, and NOVA.

The campaign further highlights how the Mi Beard Trimmer is well- equipped to effectively resolve a variety of these grooming challenges. With the Mi Beard Trimmer being Xiaomi’s first and India-exclusive grooming product, the campaign video also sees  Manu Kumar Jain as part of its cast. Manu is seen launching the new Mi Beard Trimmer while announcing the killer features of the product. Manu’s presence is an element as it is rather rare to see a C-suite leader appear in a fun and quirky campaign, highlighting Xiaomi brand’s willingness to engage directly with their audience.
