Mars India assigns its media buying duties to Starcom

Following a global media buying pitch, confectionary and food company Mars has awarded its media buying mandate to Publicis Media’s Starcom, according to sources close to the development. The agency has won the media buying duties for India and Germany, while it has retained the account in China, Southeast Asia and the UK. 

Meanwhile, Mediacom has bagged Mars’ media-buying mandate for Australia and New Zealand. 

In India, Mediacom is the incumbent agency.
