Maruti Suzuki Swift campaign; Releases 6 new television commercials
The television commercials were first showcased during the inaugural match of the Champions T-20 League match. The adverts swing around the idea of "Young at heart', "Superb handling' and "Thrilling performance'.
This multi-ad campaign is a first such exercise for an automotive company in India and would be concentrated on showcasing the various facets of the car that makes it mean a lot to a lot of people. The thought behind the ad campaign is to highlight the bold, daring and exciting characteristics of the car that would, Maruti believes, draw the consumer to explore the vehicle further.
I particularly liked the advert in which a man is sceptical of crossing the road to the other side. He is anxious because there is a swift moving Swift on the move and it is coming at such a blistering pace that he can barely see it. The message behind the commercial is to educate consumers about the performance levels of the car. Another commercial shows a Swift performing extreme stunts in the scenic land of Ladakh.
