Masti Dhamaal - Aaya Naya Saal - DD National's New Year Special Program

“Masti Dhamal – Aaya Naya Saal” showcases the journey of Comedians of India Cinema right from Actors like Johnny Walker, the first comic actors of the Indian cinema to Mehmood, I S Johar, Premnath, Bhagwan Dada, Kishore Kumar, Keshto Mukherjee, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav and others.

Humor is a virtue that is appreciated by all and sundry. It is too easy to break into laughter but it is equally difficult to make people laugh. They made us laugh with their weird sense of humor and provided much needed comic relief to save us from the overdose of melodrama. These comedians have played a pivotal role and made a significant contribution to Hindi- Indian cinema.

Doordarshan welcomes the year 2015 with a program “Masti Dhamal – Aaya Naya Saal” which will telecast on the eve of New Year from 10:00 pm onwards on DD National Network.

This New Year program also celebrates the journey of these Indian Cinema’s Comedian through short AV’s and Dance Melodies, performed by breathtaking and fascinating performances by the talented Cherographer, Sandeep Soparkar’s Dance Troop depicting the golden era of the most watchable, hilarious and unforgettable cinema.

Raju Shrivastav, Indian stand-up comedian and actor will be anchoring the show along with our own anchor, Prachi Shah of Rangoli Fame.

The entertainment quotient of the program comprises of dances and songs, music and choreography from the leading artists of Indian Music Industry.
