Maurya TV top the charts in Bihar and Jharkhand

The Indian television scene is feat changing, be it terms of content, packaging, audience demands etc. In this situation, the regional television business is not any far from the race. The recent TAM ratings have brought into limelight Maurya TV. It is one revolution that has changed the market dynamics in Bihar & Jharkhand.

Launched in this market in February 2010, Maurya TV has been consistently on growth path since then. In the six weeks period as per TAM (week 29 - 34; Period : 10th July ' 20th August), Maurya TV's viewership is 2.2 times that of the No.2 channel regional channel in Bihar & Jharkhand. In fact, Maurya is No.1 even when compared to key national news channels in Bihar + Jharkhand. It is 1.2 times higher than the lead national news channel. This is record in itself, as across the Hindi belt of UP, MP, Rajasthan, etc, the national Hindi news channels far outperform the regional channels.
