MEC China appoints Sean Mellows as Head of Investment Management

MEC  today announced the appointment of Sean Mellows as Head of Investment Management, MEC China.
 
Sean will be responsible for the management and development of Tactical Planning products for all MEC China offices. He will manage client investments across all media touch points, including strategising and identifying opportunities within traditional media and via new trading routes for all clients.
 
In this new role, Sean will report to Christian Guinot, President, MEC China, and work closely with GroupM Trading to get the best investment solutions for clients.
 
Sean has over 15 years of experience in media trading. He has previously worked for both Carat and OMD in the UK, and for clients such as American Express, Philips, Diageo, The Royal Mail, British Gas, Virgin Group, Apple, Google Chrome, Sony Group, John Lewis Partnership and Renault Nissan. Sean joined MEC China from Manning Gottlieb OMD, London, where he was Investment Director and Head of TV Trading.

Based in Shanghai, the appointment commences with immediate effect.
