Media and Marketing veteran Mr. D.K. Bose passes away

The industry lost today another well known media personality and a veteran of many years in Media, Social Marketing and Rural communication. Dwipal (DK) Bose spent many years in the field of advertising and marketing and was associated with several reputed companies like Ogilvy Outreach, HTA and RK Swamy/ BBDO.

He was instrumental in launching Thomson Social India’s first Social Marketing Communication Agency for JWT (HTA). At Ogilvy he spearheaded the rural communication wing and successfully launched the Ogilvy Outreach. He was given the Life time achievement award by the Rural Marketing Association of India for his outstanding contribution in the area of Rural marketing. In his passing away the industry has lost a good leader and a teacher who was a mentor to many students in media and rural marketing and communication.
