MediaVest bags the media duties for Axis Bank

Axis Bank one of India’s most respected private sector banks has shifted its media business to MediaVest Worldwide, an agency belonging to the Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG). MediaVest would handle the business from its Mumbai office. The account was earlier with Madison Media. The mandate covers media planning and buying for all Axis Bank campaigns and is effective August 1, 2012. This prestigious win adds to the long list of new business wins for Starcom MediaVest Group since last year that include like Aircel, Dabur, Novartis, Supermax, Zee Learn, Sterling Holidays etc. SMG has been strengthening the MediaVest brand across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore and will soon announce a few senior management hires.

 

Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India. Axis Bank offers the entire spectrum of services to customer segments coveringLarge and Mid-Corporates, SME, Agriculture and Retail Businesses.With its 1622 branches (including extension counters) and over 10,000 ATMs across the country, the network of Axis Bank spreads across 1,050 cities and towns, enabling the Bank to reach out to a large cross-section of customers with an array of products and services.
