Metropolis Healthcare launches a CSR film

Metropolis Healthcare, India’s leading diagnostics service provider, as a part of its CSR initiative ‘Healthcare Heroes of India Awards’ has unveiled a new ‘CSR film’ recognizing and appreciating those individuals and institutions in the healthcare sector with a strong sense of purpose and commitment towards patient care. The film has been launched across all social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, pressing the 2nd edition of the Healthcare Heroes of India Awards, which will be held in August 2022.

With an aim to honour the efforts of healthcare professionals and frontline workers during the Covid-19 pandemic, Metropolis had conceived the ‘Healthcare Heroes of India Awards’ as one of its CSR programs in the year 2021. The first edition of the event turned out to a significant platform which unraveled some interesting and untold stories of service, empathy, dedication, innovation, and determination of healthcare professionals, who had significantly contributed to the nation’s battle against the Covid-19 pandemic. This short CSR film is all about the contribution of those individuals and institutions, who were the winners of the last year.

This film brings to light the selfless contributions of countless healthcare professionals who went beyond their call of duty to curb the pandemic. Story Filter (A creative agency with expertise in crafting powerful, purpose-driven stories) has supported Metropolis in developing this short film which gives a glimpse into the higher purpose of Metropolis, that is to uphold empathy, commitment, and compassion.

The film features 6 of the 19 winners from the first edition - Dr. Devi Shetty, Founder - Narayana Health, Dr. Armida Fernandes, Founder – Sneha Foundation, Mumbai; Dr. Anil K Pandey, MCGM K West Ward; Sheetal S Thombare, St. George Hospital Mumbai; Mudit Dandawate, Dozee Technologies Bengaluru; Dr. Pratibha Panpatil, KDMC Mumbai – narrating their contribution and how they surpassed the odds of the pandemic to ensure access to healthcare for all.
