MG Motors soon to launch internet of cars powered by Gaana

India’s favorite music streaming app, Gaana will now power the in-vehicle infotainment system of UK-based carmaker MG Motors’ upcoming Hector SUV. This will enable Hector owners to stream over 30 million songs across 28 languages as they drive without the need for a smartphone. It would be a completely new experience for the Indian customer, who will experience a full-blown Gaana music experience on a 10.1 inch screen for the first time. This partnership also sets a global benchmark in terms of music streaming app partnering with a leading automobile manufacturer to drive more seamless in-car entertainment.

Prashan Agarwal, CEO - Gaana said, “Music streaming is revolutionising the Indian entertainment industry, and has opened up new avenues for reimagining personal entertainment. At Gaana, we believe in being the constant companion of our users no matter where they go. Our partnership with MG Motors will offer our users a more cohesive experience as they’ll now have seamless access to their personalised playlists and favorite songs no matter where they drive.”

“We are delighted to partner with one of the leading music streaming services in India – Gaana. This first of its kind journey will catalyse car-tech industry in India and will offer value-added experience to consumers of both the brands. This is just the beginning of a long successful association with Gaana,” said Morris Garages Motors Spokesperson.
