Michelin all set to provides real-time access of North American Intl. Auto Show at Detroit

Michelin today goes live with a digital tool to help journalists, bloggers and auto enthusiasts keep up to date with the very latest news from the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The tool, Michelin Media Live (www.live.michelinmedia.com), is a comprehensive, interactive site designed to capture and share real-time information from one of the largest news-making events in the automotive industry.

For the 25th anniversary of the show, more than 50 vehicles and concepts are expected to be introduced. As a proud sponsor of the Detroit Auto Dealers Association for 25 years and the sole tire maker attending the event, Michelin is uniquely positioned to offer live event coverage including exclusive content, news and information.

Beginning with press days (Jan. 13-14), Michelin Media Live will post high-resolution photos from the show, 360-degree auto videos (b-roll format), real-time interviews and news. In addition, Michelin Media Live will maintain a running list of all vehicle unveilings as they occur.

A creative commons license ensures all photos, videos and information is downloadable and free to use by journalists to supplement their editorial coverage of the show. Michelin Media Live employs YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to publish up-to-the-moment news and information. Journalists covering NAIAS 2014 are encouraged to follow @MichelinMedia on Twitter for live coverage from the press conferences.  Michelin Media Live (www.live.michelinmedia.com), which is also optimized for mobile devices, will provide coverage of NAIAS with live updates on Jan. 13 and 14. The site will remain live through the show's end on Jan. 26.
