Micromax picks Gaurav Kackar as Head of Brand Marketing!

Micromax announced the appointment of Gaurav Kackar as the Head of Brand Marketing for Micromax Informatics.  He will be handling the pan-India brand development, management and marketing communications for the company's Online and Offline platforms.

He comes in with a 14 years testimony in working on different brands and various aspects of brand management.

Speaking about his appointment, Mr. Kackar said, “It’s a great opportunity to be associated with a brand like Micromax. It is a brand which is turning into India’s strongest youth brand. Micromax is approaching towards a new phase of growth. So in essence, I am looking forward to tighter communication, fortifying the brand agenda and all communications across multiple consumer touch points.”

Prior to Micromax, he was Associate Director- Brand at MTS (Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd) and had served as the key resource to accentuate the successful journey of the brand creating various award winning campaigns, brand assets and consumer engagement platforms in the last 6 years. Before that he spent 4 years with Idea Cellular where apart from ATL, BTL he was involved with big tickets properties like IIFA, IPL, Idea Rocks India and Idea Jalsa.

He’s spent over 14 years working on different brands and various facets of brand management.

Having worked in different industries starting from Airlines to financial sector to telecom his unique ability to blend creative vision with popular culture and inclusive teamwork have resulted in some of the most disruptive & category defining consumer facing work.

His passion for brands, media and technology will help ensure that Micromax continues to deliver communication & brand innovations that have a great impact on people's lives.
