Microsoft changes Bing Ads to Microsoft Advertising

Microsoft has announced in a blog post that it has changed the name of its advertising service Bing Ads to Microsoft Advertising. According to the blog post the change was meant to indicate to their clients that they are dealing with Microsoft products and services that go beyond search. The blog states that advertising is evolving and to keep up with the times Microsoft is also evolving.

New products announced by the company that go beyond search such as Microsoft Audience Network and sponsored products. They have changed their website domain name to MicrosoftAdvertising.com and rebranded the name of their partner program to Microsoft Advertising Partner Program.

The compnay is headed in a new direction where it will introduce more products with built in AI that are more connected to your data and business. The shift is focused on leveraging intent data to bolster the client's advertising efforts. Not everything will change though says the company. They will continue to focus on building safe consumer environments in a data and tech enabled future.
