His passion for swimming has been long known and has also made him take on various forms of diving for which The Raider Harpoon will be a worthy accompanying instrument.”
The Favre-Leuba Raider Harpoon makes for a flawless companion to Milind Soman and his adventures. Originally launched in 2016 when the brand represented itself in the global market, Favre-Leuba has recently relaunched the time piece with an all new look. The brand has put the timepiece and its performance across challenging environments as an instrument with genuine functionality beyond telling time.
The Raider Harpoon incorporates the heritage barrel-shaped case, and a time-telling mechanism unique to Favre-Leuba. The tool and dress watches from the new range are not limited to the design of the past but skillfully transition into the bold look of the future. With a single minute hand and the co-rotating hour ring, the Raider Harpoon features a sapphire crystal with dual sided antireflection coating, thus ensuring ease of time reading during a dive or also on dry land. The watch with a single hand ensures you only must look at one point to read the precise time as this indicates both the minutes and hours.
Stylish and Functional, with a pop of color the Raider Harpoon has a blue emission luminous display, ensuring great visibility even in the dark. In addition, the watch features a stainless-steel, unidirectional bezel. This has a 20-minute marked dive scale on it, which is visible on the anodized aluminium insert. An essential tool for keeping track of dive times, making it an apt dive watch. Furthermore, Super-LumiNova is applied to the hour ring, the minute hand and the central function control disc. Therefore, you can view the functioning watch face clearly in the dark. The extreme lume used on the Harpoon assists deep ocean divers as the light begins to dim below 50m.
Overall, the Raider Harpoon is a great device for deep sea divers that have incomparable demands when it comes to design and functionality of a timepiece. Milind Soman will be accompanied by this timepiece, putting it to a rigorous test across all aspects of his life.
