Mindshare picks Chris Green as Global Head - Strategy

Mindshare, the global media network, has appointed Chris Green as its new Head of Strategy.
 
In his role Green will be responsible for bringing together Mindshare’s growing strategy community around the world. Green joins Mindshare from Naked Communications, where he has spent the past seven years, most recently as Managing Partner. During his time with Naked he worked with brands including Coca Cola, Vodafone, J.P. Morgan and Kimberly-Clark.
 
Green joins the 80 strong Mindshare global strategy community that already includes: Matt Andrews, the former head of strategy at Mother and Alistair Green, the former head of the planning group at BBH, heading the UK community ; Gary Armitage, who worked with Green as Strategy Director at Naked and who runs the international planning community; Sonia Le Louarn, formerly of  Vodafone who heads Latin American strategy; Deepika Nikhilender, Cat Williams and Chris Harrison managing the Asia community; Tim Elton, based out of New York and running the US strategy team and Alistair Lennie, whose team supports Nike out of Mindshare’s Portland hub.
 
Together this global community has helped to deliver award winning work for Nike (Cannes 2011 Gold Integrated Lion Write the Future), HSBC (Cannes 2010 Gold Media Lion First Direct Live), Unilever (Gold Effie 2012 for Axe) and Volvo, who’s Unboxing campaign is one of the best performing social campaigns in the agency’s history, amongst other clients.
 
Green will report to Marco Rimini, CEO Mindshare Worldwide Central Team, who stepped up from the Head of Strategy role earlier this year.

Green will take up his role at the end of August.
