Mirchi and Bingo Tedhe Medhe co-created an innovative Pujo Party

Mirchi, a brand that has been close to the hearts of Indian's across the world for almost two decades now, has always been at the forefront of creating innovative possibilities even in the most challenging of times.

With strict safety norms put in place, this year's Durga Puja was far from being usual. With nearly empty pandals and most people choosing to stay indoors during the five days of festivities, Mirchi brought the spirit of Durga Puja to the homes of their audience by organizing one of the biggest virtual Pujo parties of 2020 along with ITC Bingo. ‘Bingo Tedhe Medhe and Mirchi present Pujo Party 2020’, was organized from 19th- 21st October and invited people across the world to attend the virtual festivity, making it one of the largest online events hosted by Mirchi.

To kick start the festivities, Mirchi sent party hampers to the first 150 registrants. These hampers included fun party elements such as party buntings, diyas, string lights, and Bingo Tedhe Medhe packs, to help people get into the Pujo mode at their house. Mirchi's renowned RJ Somak held a series of engaging conversations with some of the celebrity guests and hosted entertaining games with select participants, and gratified them with a Bingo! Box of Joy.

Since no celebration is complete without its dose of entertainment, Mirchi got together famous artists like Mir and Bandage, Fiddler's Green, as well as DJ Trio, amongst others to perform for the viewers. The three-day-long celebration also saw celebrity gate crashers like Monami Ghosh, Darshana Banik, and many more.

Conceptualized to entertain people around the globe during the pandemic, Mirchi successfully garnered love and affection for their first-ever virtual event with over 500 attendees, making it one of the biggest virtual Pujo parties of the season.

 Catch all the fun here!
