Misadventures explained, NatGeo launches 'Science of Stupid' with Manish Paul

Get set to learn the Physics, chemistry and biology of all misadventures as Nat Geo brings ‘Science of Stupid’ with television’s wittiest host and actor, Manish Paul. This show combines cold hard science with some of the craziest, most spectacular and painful user generated clips ever recorded.  Starting July 21st, every Monday to Friday at 9 pm. Manish Paul will introduce all kinds of mishaps featuring brave, if misguided individuals from around the world and then will explain the science behind their failure.

Each episode of Science of Stupid will feature a variety of stunts captured in home shot videos, ranging from the dangerous to the silly. Thrill-seekers collide with the invincible laws of physics as the show explains what happens when even the simplest of the stunts like backflips and running on treadmills result in epic failures. Actor and TV host Manish Paul will add his signature spunk to the series by explaining the extraordinarily stupid mistakes of ordinary folks.

Swati Mohan, Vice President, Programming & Content, NGC Networks and FOX International Channels, said, “At Nat Geo, we always endeavor to present a combination of fun and knowledge through our content. Science of Stupid is an extension of the same thought where the basic principles of science are explained through these hilarious ‘ouch’ inducing moments captured on camera by people from around the world. With a host like Manish Paul, viewers can look forward to a fun ride while learning the science behind all that is stupid.”

Talking about the show, Actor and TV host Manish Paul said, “I think I have become smarter while working of the ‘Science of Stupid’! It’s nothing like anything that I have done before and I am really excited to entertain the viewers while imparting knowledge on the fundamentals of science. Thanks to National Geographic Channel, I am sure they will never attempt any of the seemingly harmless stunts without knowing the science behind it!.”
