Mjunction fights Corona musically

A bunch of young professionals from India’s largest B2B e-commerce company, mjunction, has turned to music to spread the message of hope and optimism in these troubled times. mjBand, a cross-functional group spread across Technology, Legal, CSR and core business operations, this motley group has put together a music video, recording it from their homes and then mixing it to make the final product.

The theme song of this video is “Aashayein” from the film “Iqbal”, which speaks of conquering against all odds. The video opens with all participants of the video in masks, each holding a placard, and the message emerging is that of overcoming all odds.

mjunction MD Mr Vinaya Varma, who makes a brief appearance in the video, said: “mjBand has curated this video, especially for every junctionite, who is fighting this battle against all odds and still holding the mj flag high, keeping interest of our customers at the centre. Let us together turn to music in these troubled times to lift our spirits.”

mjunction has gone on a complete “Work from Home” mode, including its international offices in Dubai and London, ever since lockdown was announced. The video aims to inspire mjunction employees, who are working from their homes to keep business operations going. With the support of robust technology and organisational agility, mjunction was able to act swiftly to adapt to the changed circumstances, developing capabilities to conduct e-auctions remotely from home, without compromising on the data security protocol.

The mjBand members who have put together this music video from their homes are Avik Paul, Indranil Banerjee, Piya Nandi, Abhishek Kar, Tania Chatterjee, Rikee Guha, Shourya Sinha, and Aritra Saha.
