MN+ to premiere period crime drama ‘Detroit’

MN+, the Gold Class of Hollywood movies, will premiere American period crime drama, ‘Detroit’, for the first time on Indian television. Directed by the Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow, the movie stars Will Poulter, Hannah Murray, John Krasinski and John Boyega. ‘Detroit’ will air on Sunday, 25th November 2018 at 1pm and 9pm on MN+.

Fact-based drama set during the 60s, the movie is centred around the Algiers Motel incident, which occurred in Detroit, Michigan on July 25, 1967. In the heat of the 12th Street uprising, a task-force raids The Algiers Motel searching for a sniper. When they fail to find him, the guests are subjected to a horrifying storm of race-hate and violence. ‘Detroit’ is a gruelling riot epic from a turbulent past that casts a baleful light on America’s troubled present.

‘Detroit’ is a hardcore masterpiece that recreates one of the darkest chapters in American history and makes it an unmissable movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon.
