Moneka Khurana on DigitALL, innovation and tech for gender equality

WD's theme this year is DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality, and as a marketing ecosystem that thrives on this very narrative, MMA initiated a conversation with women board/industry members' and received their valuable thoughts on the initiative. Through this campaign, MMA celebrates women who are pioneering innovation and technology.
Ahead of this campaign, MMA asked leading ladies from diverse industries about their views on innovation, technology, gender equality, and a host of other powerful topics. It came as no surprise that they received some impressive responses from renowned names. Additionally, the article shows how women can upskill and lead by using tools, how technology and innovation can establish equality in the true sense, and how women can climb the ladder and bridge the gender gap using actionable ways. While asking a few industry experts to share their views on, 'What book, podcast, or article has had the biggest impact on your career, and why?' Ritika Taneja, Head of eCommerce, GroupM shared about the book 'Lean In' by Sheryl Sandberg. She mentioned that the book has provided her with valuable insights and practical advice for navigating the challenges of the workplace.
She added: “Sandberg addresses common barriers and biases that women face in their careers and provides guidance on how to take a more active role, strive for leadership positions, build strong networks, and cultivate a growth mindset. The book empowers women to pursue their goals with confidence and resilience, serving as a call to action for gender equality in the workplace.”
While putting forward one more question, ‘What’s your go-to platform to stay updated on the latest trends/tools/technologies?’ Moneka Khurana received a great response from Rubeena Singh, Country Manager of India & MENA, AnyMind Group. She mentioned: “There is no single source. It's a combination of reading, meeting people, and observing the changing technology tides across various sectors/industries.”
In the article, Moneka Khurana, Country Head, MMA India, talks about #EmbraceEquity being a central and heart of everything they do. “MMA India board prides itself in enabling gender parity, with women leaders taking the active lead to spearhead transformation and innovation.
