More organisational restructure afoot at Ogilvy India

Close on the heels of Sonal Dabral’s appointment as Group Chief Creative Officer & Vice Chairman of Ogilvy, and Rajiv Rao’s decision to bid adieu to the agency as National Creative Director, Ogilvy India has now announced further changes in the group’s organisational structure across regions.

Ajay Gahlaut, Executive Creative Director, O&M, Delhi, has been elevated to the role of Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy North and Deputy CCO, Ogilvy India. Gahlaut returned to Ogilvy in 2007 from Rediffusion Y&R Delhi. During his previous stint at O&M Delhi in 2001-05, he had served as a creative consultant.

Sukesh Nayak, Kainaz Karmakar and Harshad Rajadhyaksha have been made Chief Creative Officers, Ogilvy West. Nayak joined the agency in January 2000, while Rajadhyaksha and Karmakar came on board in 2010.

Mahesh Gharat and Azazul Haque have been named Chief Creative Officers, Ogilvy South. The duo moved from Ogilvy Mumbai to Ogilvy Bangalore as Executive Creative Directors in June 2016.

Meanwhile, Sumanto Chattopadhyay has been appointed as Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of Soho Square.
