MRSI presents The Golden Key Awards

The Market Research Society of India has announced the second edition of The Golden Key Awards — India’s first and only awards for Market Research and Insights to be held at a digital event on 17th December 2020. The awards will feature the Industry’s best work in the use of Insights from across the country.

As part of its mission to encourage the highest quality of work in the areas of market research and insights, the MRSI launched the maiden edition of the Golden Key Awards in 2019. This awards platform was conceived with the sole purpose of attracting and showcasing innovative and groundbreaking work across private and public sectors. The first edition saw close to two hundred submissions from organizations and teams across clients and agencies. Winners were announced at an event in Mumbai which included a keynote address from Sudhir Sitapati, Executive Director, Hindustan Unilever Limited.

In 2020, the awards are going digital, still reinforcing their mission to showcase excellent work that was delivered in many cases against all odds. As the global pandemic threw the world into chaos, the work done by researchers and teams was also tremendously impacted. To their credit, they adapted and continued to deliver great quality of work even despite the challenges.

Speaking on the importance of the awards, MRSI’s President, Sandeep Arora said, “The industry faced many challenges this year, but it was also a time we saw phenomenal contributions which helped businesses feel the pulse and adapt so they did a lot more than just survive. We decided the awards this year would take special note of the efforts made during the pandemic, which elevated businesses and inputted to the public sector. While all the award categories we have this year recognize the difficulties faced, the special COVID-19 award specifically looks at the innovations and initiatives taken in the midst of the pandemic.”

The process of submission and learning more about the award categories has been made smooth and seamless. “We’ve also gone the length to make nominations easy with our online portal at mrsi.co.in — nominations opened on 19th October and will continue to accept submissions until the 10th of November. After which our jury will begin reviewing the submissions.” said Mitali Chowhan, Dy. Director General of MRSI.

The jury panel represents pillars of industry, leaders in market research from the client and the agency side. Additionally, expert jury members will add to the evaluation of Public sector research, Technology and Data Collection. “This year, we’re pleased to have a distinguished jury of leaders who while being icons themselves, also represent the country’s top-most companies including HUL, Nestle, Ogilvy, Nielsen, Kantar, Karvy, Google India, Datamatics, BARC, Colgate Palmolive, Quantum, and ITC. We will use our Golden Key Award event to present the Lifetime Achievement Award this year, which last year was presented to Dorab Sopariwala.” Said Manish Makhijani, Vice President, MRSI.
