MRSS adds another 70 years of MR experience

MRSS today announced the appointment of Mr. Rajesh Kumar as Transportation & Logistics Practise Guru, Mr. Chandramouli Guin as the Head of Public Sector Practise and Dr. Manish Ganvir as Vice President - Insight sciences.

Commenting on this acquisition Mr Raj Sharma, Chairman – Majestic Research said, “As a services player, capacity expansion is a function of ‘PEOPLE’ and we are executing on the same in a dimensional manner”.

Rajesh K has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Marketing, an Alumnus of IIMA, he has Marketing & Market Research career spanning 36 years, spent in reputed organizations like L&T, Voltas & Tata Motors.  Joined Tata Motors in 1986 and was responsible for setting up Market Research Department from scratch. As part of initiative to assess product acceptance & find inputs for product development, he was responsible for conducting vehicle clinics at Johannesburg, Seoul & Brisbane, in addition to domestic markets. He was involved in designing improvements in National Readership Survey (NRS) and for many years was part of Technical Committee of NRS. As member of Economic Research Group (ERG) of Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) for several years, he had the responsibility of providing inputs on directions of future growth of various segments of Automobile market.

Guin has 20 years of rich experience in market research & business advisory services across industry, trade & development sectors in India for leading private enterprises, government and international funding agencies. He holds degrees in Bachelor of Science, Law and Post Graduate in Business Administration from Calcutta University. His core competency lies in  Skill Development, Textile, Agriculture and allied industries, Automobiles, Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Power, Chemicals and Petro Chemicals, Consumer Durables, Environmental Science, Food Processing FMCG (limited), Pharmaceuticals, Housing and Real Estate, Travel & Tourism industry etc.

Dr. Ganvir is joining us after completing his Fellowship in Strategic Management from IIM Lucknow. He has 13 years of rich experience in areas of market research, consumer insights and marketing with TNS India, IMRB, ORG-MARG, IFF, Ranbaxy and Roche Diagnostic Care. His experience spans both qualitative and quantitative researches in sectors such as Auto, FMCG, Insurance, Media, OTC and Pharma. His experience in marketing is in marketing / advertising campaigns, NPD, media buying and activation. Dr. Manish has wide experience in sensory evaluation across food categories (savoury, confectionaries and non-alcoholic beverages) and OTC pharma.
