MTV India’s Sumeli Chatterjee joins Times Group

Sumeli Chatterjee, Head of Marketing, Media and Insights for MTV India and MTV Indies of Viacom18 Group, has moved on from the organisation. As per her Linkedin profile, Chatterjee has been appointed as Vice President, Head Brand - The Times of India, Metro Supplements at the Times Group. 

In her role, Chatterjee will be leading the strategic way forward for The Times of India - Metro Supplements across 45+ editions across India. Further, she will be delivering a profitable P&L through developing sound business strategy, conceptualising brand campaigns and new IPs and product innovations. 

Chatterjee was associated with Viacom18 for seven years, where she was responsible for conceptualising and executing innovative intellectual properties, brand campaigns, integrated marketing programmes, content development and executing profitable media alliances for the Youth Cluster - MTV, MTV Beats and MTV Indies. 

Packing in a wealth of experience in leading large and diverse teams to manage complex projects across sectors like FMCG, Media and Entertainment, Chatterjee has also worked with Avalon Consulting, Marketgate (Publicis Groupe), and the Coca Cola company.
