Mumbai Police claims to have explicit proof against accused in TRP scam case

Mumbai Police has filed a supplementary chargesheet which runs into 3600 pages against Vikas Khanchandani, CEO, Republic Media Network; Partho Dasgupta, ex-CEO, BARC India; and former BARC India, COO, Romil Ramgarhia and claims to have explicit proof against Republic TV Network employees and former BARC India employees for manipulating TRPs of two channels.

The chargesheet also accuses Priya Mukherjee, COO, Republic Media Network who got anticipatory bail on 11 December and other employees of Republic Media Network. Mumbai Police has unearthed evidence against other unnamed Sports, Entertainment and Regional channels which will be investigated in the coming days.
