Munch Nuts raises the ‘crunch’ factor with a new campaign

Delicious Crunchy Wafer and peanut crème along with nuts makes for an unpredictably delicious taste! Nestlé MUNCH, India’s most loved and largest coated wafer brand, today announced the launch of its new campaign featuring Ishaan Khattar and The Great Khali. With ‘confidence’ at the core of its messaging, in the new advertisement, Ishaan Khattar comically ‘crunches’ the ‘googly’ with Nestlé MUNCH Nuts.

Shot at the beautiful Dal Lake, the 45 sec film opens with Ishaan Khattar’s stunned reaction after seeing his date accompanying The Great Khali. The googly moment heightens the tension when Ishaan’s date asks him to sit next to her on the boat by removing the Great Khali! Disappointed and under-confident, Ishaan bites into a MUNCH Nuts. The crunchy explosion of peanuts, wafer and peanut crème gives him an unpredictable idea that saves the day. The highpoint of the film is the end and one to watch out for.

Commenting at the launch of the new campaign, Nikhil Chand, General Manager, Chocolates and Confectionery, Nestlé India Ltd. said, “We are extremely happy to introduce the new campaign in association with Ishaan Khattar and The Great Khali. Teens today face innumerable unpredictable moments where they’re looking for a “Crunch” of confidence to manage the googly. This campaign, inspires confidence while capturing the desi quirk in a uniquely MUNCH way. The unique combination of starring the great Khali, an icon amongst teens, with Ishaan, a budding star, will definitely catch the attention of the teens.”

Speaking on the appointment as brand ambassador of MUNCH, Ishaan Khattar said, “I’m happy to be associated with Munch and enjoyed shooting the TVC thoroughly! It’s a fun world to be a part of and I love that the advertisement is supplemented with wit and presented with humor.”

The campaign will be promoted through TV and will be supplemented with a strong focus on digital and social media platforms.
