MX Player leads the show with female audience in India

With over 236 million monthly active users (MAU), MX continues to be the go-to destination for all of India and all of entertainment.

Female audience on MX is growing exponentially with women consuming more entertainment than before and owning their right to me-time. Women from all walks of life come together on MX Player to be entertained and engage with content that resonates with them.

As per the latest Comscore data (March 2022), MX Player provides the highest reach among female audience across all OTT platforms. MX Player reaches over 57.5 million female viewers, becoming the most preferred entertainment destination for women audience in India.

MX Player has reported a 33% increase in female audience, compared to December last year, as per Comscore data. Video consumption by women on the OTT platform has also gone up by 1.5x, compared to last year, with the platform reporting 35% of its consumption being driven by the female audience. MX Player further said women spent 40% higher average time spent per user on the OTT platform than men.

MX Player further said that Drama/ Romance, Comedy and Action Thriller were the top three genres that women viewers preferred to watch on the platform.
