Naina Meattle joins BBDO India as VP, Planning

BBDO India has appointed Naina Meattle as VP Planning, Mumbai – a position that will see her working closely with CMOs, brand managers, HR and corporate communication chiefs of the agency’s leading multinational and national accounts like P&G, Reliance, Crompton, Racold, Ralco, Mercedes-Benz, Glenmark and Meta’s WhatsApp.

Naina returns to BBDO India following her stint at other top creative agencies, where she led the strategic planning for Unilever’s personal care business.

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Media with a major in Advertising, Naina discovered her love for planning. Over the course of her career as a planner, she has worked for Fortune 500 companies like Unilever, P&G and Johnson & Johnson, as well as Indian multinationals like Marico & RSPL and NGOs like CRY.

In describing the move to BBDO India, Naina says, “BBDO India is my coming home. It's where I began my career as a planner and where I was introduced to the idea of creating Acts, not Ads, which has greatly influenced the way I think today. I always find myself thinking – will the idea help change someone’s life, even if it is a little bit? I believe BBDO-India isn't just a creative advertising agency, it more like an idea lab, where ideas and acts are made to impact people's lives, cultures, and societies.Im truly excited to contribute and be a part of this journey!”

“We are thrilled to have Naina back home as she will add depth to our unique culture & belief towards building brands. Her ‘fresh eyes’ will help us open our minds about the world we live in. Some may call it diversity, we see it as our third eye,” added Priyanka Rishi, GM & EVP BBDO India, MUMBAI.

“Naina is one of our OGs. She's got BBDO running in her blood and BBDO has her inputs in its legacy. She was an integral part of the team when we created Whsiper's #TouchThePickle movement and even at the start of the #ShareTheLoad journey. She's a great partner, and with all her added experience, we can't wait to create some amazing work together” added Hemant Shringy, Chief Creative Officer BBDO India, Mumbai.
