Namrata Soni, introduces free digital makeover

With technology steeping into every step of our lives, mankind explores new and interesting ways of merging it together. One such interactive attempt is Beauty Filters. With visually pleasing overlays, users can see the virtual reality on themselves and frankly seem to enjoy it. The idea is executed by Graphixstory Pvt Ltd experimenting in merging makeup and Virtual Reality.

The beauty industry has taken over the digital world and especially beauty filters have created a buzz during this pandemic. As people are feeling low and unmotivated in this current pandemic to wear makeup or anything as such, so at this time customised beauty filters by celebrity makeup artist, Namrata Soni can uplift their mood.

Keeping in mind the latest beauty trends, Namrata Soni, a renowned celebrity makeup artist conceptualised the look and Graphixstory, a tech driven advertising studio has created 3 AR beauty filters namely:

  • Metallic Smoke, a classic recreation inspired by Actor Sonam Kapoor’s Cannes Look;
  • Sunset Glow, an unapologetic flush of sunset hues on the lids along with a glass skin glow effect &
  • Liner on Fleek, to achieve the minimal cat-eye.

In order to give the users a first-hand experience of how the artists’ renditions will look on them. So in just one tap anyone can get a quick touch of #NAMGLOW look absolutely for free sitting at home by using these beauty filters. All these filters have a controller on their sides through which one can increase or decrease the effects as on when required.

According to Namrata Soni, “I have been seeing the emphasis growing on e-makeup rather than Selfies. Brands as well as influencers are trying on various filters having the e-makeup option in order to be more relatable to the makeup world. And with these customised beauty filters onboard, the desire to meet the level of instructiveness with the audience gladly meets together.”

Arnab Samanta, Head of Marketing, Graphixstory said, “The Filters- Liner on Fleek, Sunset Glow and Metallic Smoke- were generated with artists’ expressiveness, brought into use by our tech team. We wanted to leverage AR to offer unique brand-specific experiences to her followers giving her brand a sustained visibility over a period of time. With the lockdown commencement, as we are always inside, there was no reason to be ready which eventually made our morale go down. These beauty filters were especially made under this notion i.e, people get to try the Namrata Soni Makeup look, that too for free sitting at their homes. “

The filters have gone live on 9th of July on Instagram and garnered over 3 Million impressions already, with 50k captures and are performing exceptionally well in the internet.
