A special edition, the July anniversary issue of India’s best travel magazine is all set to treat and delight its readers with lesser known fascinating places of India. The magazine explores the length and breadth of the country: experience a unique harvest festival in Spiti; take a walking-driving tour of Chhattisgarh's hidden heritage; sample delicious thalis and visit the gorgeous Loktak Lake in Manipur; go on a search for mussels in Thalaserry, Kerala; and then uncover many other hidden gems of India.

National Geographic Traveller India’s 3rd anniversary issue also boasts a refreshed design, revamped sections, and engaging editorial additions that readers can look forward to. Some of the sections of the magazine that are topped up with interesting content are Navigate, Journeys, and Short Breaks. Readers can also look forward to the next installment of the fabulous annual travel storytelling competition.

Mr. Manas Mohan, CEO, Publishing, Amar Chitra Katha Pvt. Ltd. and Publishing Director, National Geographic Traveller India said, National Geographic Traveller India turns three this July. Not only has it been an incredible journey but we are overwhelmed that in less than three years we've managed to establish ourselves as the best travel magazine in India. The endorsement from www.tripadvisor.com and the double wins at the DMAI Echo Awards last year, prove that not only have we produced great content over the three years, we have also created the best customer engaging solutions for our advertisers. At National Geographic we will continue to redefine the standard of excellence with superior editorial product, world-renowned photography, brand recognition, and consumer trust to offer a consistent brand experience across platforms.

Ms. Niloufer Venkatraman, Editor, National Geographic Traveller India magazine said,

“In this issue we pay tribute to India’s unending capacity to surprise the traveller. Our writers and photographers have travelled across the country, to bring to readers a variety of India’s better kept secrets. From submerged chapels to unexplored caves, from waters filled with starfish to mystical encounters in the Himalayas, this issue is packed with ideas. There’s so much still to discover in our country, if only you know where to look…”
