NDTV Good Times showcases the best of Dubai in new series

‘Dubai Diaries’, a new series that recently premiered on NDTV Good Times, showcases Dubai’s most popular and exciting attractions and experiences to Indian audiences. Dubai Tourism, in collaboration with the NDTV Group, created the ten-part series for audiences on NDTV Good Times, the ever popular Indian lifestyle channel.

Airing on Thursdays at 8pm, the series’ unique format sees each episode being hosted by a different high profile anchor – from TV actress Sumona Chakravarti to MasterChef India judge Kunal Kapur to NDTV Good Times’ own Ambika Anand and Freishia Bomanbehram. Each host explores an aspect of the city, bringing to life Dubai’s diversified offering – from food, shopping and entertainment, weddings, hotels and beaches to name but a few.

Speaking about the collaboration with NDTV Group, Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM) said: “As one of our top international source markets and being the second fastest-growing one in 2015, India remains key to the development of Dubai’s travel sector. Through our collaboration with NDTV Good Times for ‘Dubai Diaries’ we look forward to reaching a larger audience in the country and showcase the diverse and exciting offerings our city has for the Indian traveller.”

Dubai Diaries’ first episode premiered on 24 March and was hosted by Sumona Chakravarti, focusing on Dubai’s most talked-about tourist spots such as the iconic Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and The Dubai Mall.

On 31st March, NDTV Good Times' travel veteran Neha Dixit explores a variety of kid-friendly activities that created a treasured experience for her family in Dubai. Chef Kunal Kapur, fashion diva Ambika Anand and NDTV Good Times’ anchor Freishia are set to host the remaining episodes, highlighting Dubai’s culinary scene, retail offerings for brides-to-be and couple retreats respectively.

After each episode airs, the series is also available on the NDTV Good Times website and their YouTube channel, and audiences can also use #DubaiDiaries for the show’s latest updates on social media.
