NDTV Good Times to launch Royal Reservation - Project Living

Lifestyle channel NDTV Good Times is back with a trunkful of royal inspiration to transform the way you live with Royal Reservation - Project Living. The show aims to create contemporary spaces inspired by the aristocrats of style. The 13 episode series will highlight royal homes with host of insights from chic princesses and stylish princes on modern ways to live your life king-size.

Funny, warm and always looking for a great story, Amrita Gandhi brings her endearing charm and charisma to the show. She has met enough royals over the years to fill up the Delhi Durbar, and on this series she gets them to spill the beans on their prized lifestyle secrets.

The show will feature members of royal families including Nawab Saif Ali Khan, Raghuvendra Rathore, Begum of Pataudi, Princess Esra Jah of Hyderabad, the Princess of Rampur, Hanut Singh of Kapurthala and Princess of Kishangarh of Kishangarh, amongst many others.

Thrilled about the new season of Royal Reservation, Shibani Sharma Khanna, Channel Director, NDTV Good Times and Creative Head, NDTV Lifestyle said, “The royals have always been a source of inspiration with the aura of grandeur around them. The show lays emphasis on their homes, design and personal style, offering extraordinary ideas to bring an aristocratic touch to our urban lifestyles.”

With design partner Architectural Digest India coming on board for certain episodes, the series will showcase how a simple living space can be transformed into something spectacular with a touch of royal inspiration.

Elated to be back with her favourite show, Amrita Gandhi said, “The show will shed light on how the royals perceive luxury and their elegant yet elaborate lifestyles. There is so much to offer for everyone, be it simple tips on playing the perfect host or how to do up your favourite living space in a novel way.”

Trade your queen sized bed for a custom made boudoir that will bring out the princes in you. Order yards of 'ikkat' that you splash all over your walls, turn around a dusty flea market find into a showcase fit for vintage bone china, learn to cook a mock meat dish that will impress the Nawabs and assume just the right body language as you sit for a portrait taken in your own home, all this and more on Royal Reservation – Project Living.
