Neeraj Chopra is brand ambassador for Disney BYJU's Early Learn App

Olympic Gold medallist Neeraj Chopra, represented by JSW Sports, has been announced as the brand ambassador for Disney BYJU's Early Learn App. His achievements at the Tokyo Olympics have inspired the youth to dream big, chart their own course, and never give up. He has been found to be a true representation of BYJU's values of hard work, dedication, and lifelong learning.

As part of this two-year commitment, Neeraj will inspire the young learners of BYJU’s to learn in a more creative and interactive way and most importantly, help them understand the importance of sports in their lives.

Speaking on the association, Neeraj Chopra said, “I am thrilled be able to help make learning fun, engaging and effective for young minds with Disney BYJU'S Early Learn app. As a sportsperson, there is nothing more encouraging than seeing children learn from an early age while getting the chance to instil the right values in them. In sport or life, learning and training go hand in hand and I hope I can work with these children to get them engaged and more involved with the learning process."

JSW Sports CEO Mustafa Ghouse, commented, "While a lot has been written and said about Neeraj's historic achievement in Tokyo, the story behind how he got there is one that is truly inspirational, making him a great role model for the youth. We have been working closely with Neeraj to identify meaningful brand associations, and this partnership made a lot of sense since he has always wanted to work with kids. We hope that the Disney BYJU’s early learners are inspired by Neeraj’s success and make the most of this learning platform."

Since his Gold medal winning performance at the Tokyo2020 Olympic Games, Neeraj has taken the country by storm, climbing up the rankings to become one of India’s most followed and engaged with sports celebrities on social media. His meteoric rise on social media saw him being the third most searched sports personality in India in 2021. Additionally, he has become one of India’s most sought-after brand endorsers this year, having signed long-term associations with 10+ major brands since the Olympics.

Neeraj has this week shifted training base to the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Centre along with his coach Dr. Klaus Bartonietz and physiotherapist Ishaan Marwaha, as he gets set for a 3-month off-season training program to gear up for an important 2022 competition season which will see him compete in the World Championships and look to defend his Commonwealth and Asian Games Gold medals from 2018.
