Netflix wins big with 26 awards at the Emmys!

Netflix hit it out of the park with a total of 26 wins (with 3 wins at the Primetime Emmy Awards and 23 wins at the Creative Arts Awards). The superhit Korean drama, Squid Game made history by being the first ever non-english language series and emerged right at the top with a total of 6 wins followed by Stranger Things and Love on the Spectrum with 5 and 3 respectively. Other Netflix titles that stole the spotlight at the Emmy Awards were Arcane, Love, Death & Robots  and many more. 

Hwang Dong-hyuk’s Directing for a Drama Series win and Lee Jung-jae’s Lead Actor in a Drama Series makes them both the first Asian and native Korean winners ever in their category. Julia Garner won Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Ozark for the 3rd time, winning every year she’s been nominated.
