Network18 emerges as the preferred content- driven platform for key sectors of the economy

In an endeavor to create awareness and discuss the issues and opportunities concerning India’s natural resources, Network18 recently organized the Global Natural Resources Conclave (GNRC). The two day event conceptualized by the Special Projects division of the Network was attended by about 1000 delegates including participants from over 30 countries and had 20 foreign speakers. The event witnessed several industry stalwarts, ministers, global thinkers, industry bodies and think-tanks deliberate upon the present and the future challenges being faced by the sector in India.

With a broadcast & digital footprint that reached millions, GNRC has emerged as the biggest event of its kind organized by a Media House. The social media campaign with the hashtag #GNRC2017 reached more than 16 million users and had generated close to about 1000 unique tweets by the end of the conclave. The hashtag trended in India several times during the two-day event. Industry veterans too supported the GNRC initiative on the social media and buzz was created with high influencers from the sector such as like Anil Agarwal, Group Chairman, Vedanta Resources and GoI Ministers including Rajyavardhan Rathore, MoS for Information & Broadcasting and Dharmendra Pradhan, MoS (Independent Charge) for Petroleum & Natural Gas engaging on the topic.

Speaking further, Joy said, “We will continue to channelize our resources and talent towards creating such niche properties and enter newer sectors to initiate fruitful debates.
