Holiday AR effects, new Soundmojis to help spread Christmas cheer, and fun enhancements for Messenger Kids are among the latest holiday-themed features brought to Messenger by Meta.

Messenger has also received some new word effects, such as the ability to send a flood of related emojis up the screen when wishing them a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or Happy Kwanzaa.

Meta also mentions that its new New Year's Eve conversation theme for Messenger and Instagram DMs, which incorporate word effects, may help you 'plan some seriously lit end-of-year parties.'
