News18 Kannada recognizes excellence in leadership

We often come across individuals and organizations who contribute to the development of their state and set examples for many. Appreciating their priceless efforts and initiatives, News18 Kannada recently hosted the News18 Kannada Business Leaders & Excellence Awards 2022, an inaugural awards ceremony celebrating pioneering initiatives by the brilliant entrepreneurs and ingenious business minds of Karnataka. The prestigious ceremony was held at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru on August 27, 2022, and will be telecast on News18 Kannada on 31^st August 2022, 4 pm onwards, with a repeat telecast on 1^st September at 10 am.

The gala event is a cumulative effort of the editorial team of News18 Kannada, who has done an extensive research to select the deserving profiles among several nominations. The awardees include stellar business professionals and entrepreneurs, who have been indispensable because of their support in skill development, employment generation, technological advancement, and product innovations combining into a herculean contribution to the overall economic development of Karnataka. These professionals were broadly divided into 19 categories such as Excellence in Customized IT Solutions, Excellence in Textile Retail Industry, Excellence in Nursing Education, Excellence in Industrial Innovation, and many more.

The inaugural event by News18 Kannada featured a broad guest list including industry experts from all walks of life and Sandalwood celebrities. Gracing the occasion were Dr. C N Ashwath Narayan – ITBT and Higher Education Minister of Karnataka, Sri. R. Ashok, Revenue Minister; Sri. K Govindaraj – MLC and Vice-President of Indian Olympic Association; Sri. N A Haris - MLA, Shantinagar; actors Ramesh Aravind, Manvita, and Archana Jois.

This first-of-its-kind initiative by News18 Kannada received a resounding response from all government officials, awardees, and their communities.
