News18 Leadership Conclave 2023 recognises successful entrepreneurs

West Bengal is turning into the future industrial powerhouse with new opportunities, entrepreneurship, and innovation seen all across the state. These changes in the state have given rise to new leaders coming to the fore. They are paving the way for others by reshaping the economy of the state and leading it to become a pioneer in the industrial business sector. To honour such ingenious minds, News18 Bangla hosted Leadership Conclave 2023 on  January 13th, 2023 in the state’s capital, Kolkata.

While there were many nominations that proved their mettle to everyone present, only a few succeeded in taking the awards home.

Apart from the celebration of the brilliant entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals, and organisations, the ceremony also featured an extensive panel discussion. The talking points of this interesting and educative conversation were; ‘one is born as a leader, not trained to be one’, ‘West Bengal and its capacity to provide leadership to India as a nation’, ‘one who is resilient, perseveres through obstacles’, and ‘how economic development needs to be supported by cultural development’.

Dr. Shashi Panja, Hon’ble Minister Of Industry, Commerce and Enterprise, Government of West Bengal was the chief guest of this prestigious event. Other prominent delegates include Dr. Santanu Sen, Hon’ble M.P (Rajya Sabha), Jyoti Priya Mallik, Minister in Charge, Non-Conventional and Renewable Energy Sources, Government of West Bengal, Shri Achyut Chandra, Chairman, MSME, Bharat Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Ajitabha Roy Chowdhury, Economist, Mr. Tanmoy Banerjee, Committee and Co-Chairperson, Sports and Skills Committee, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Sanjay Budhia, Managing Director, PATTON Group, Shri Ram Naresh Singh, Chairman, Damodar Valley Corporation, Government of India, and Mr. Satyam Roychowdhury, Co-Founder and Managing Director, of Techno India Group.
