News18 Network launches Mission Saahas

News18, India’s largest television news network today announced the launch of ‘Mission Saahas’ across its Hindi news channels in the Hindi speaking markets. Starting with News18 UP/UK and News18 PHH, the initiative is dedicated to salute the successful entrepreneurs of the Medium and Small Enterprises (MSME), who started with the capital of courage and wrote their own story of success.

Speaking on the initiative, Karan Abhishek Singh, CEO – Hindi News Cluster, News18 Network, said, “’Mission Saahas’ is an ambitious initiative of News18 Network, through which we want to engage with the small and medium enterprises community in the Hindi speaking belt of India. Through inspiring stories of the life journey, challenges, and success of entrepreneurs of the region, our editorial team has created unique programming that will throw light on those who set an example by making a prosperous mark in the MSME sector and become an inspiration in the industry. We aim to honor these exemplary business men and women through ‘Mission Saahas’.”

News18 ‘Mission Saahas’ will commence with a panel discussion on various issues pertaining to the MSME sector, including challenges and opportunities. In the presence of key representatives of MSME from private and Govt. sector, the panel will discuss policy related issues and seek to create a positive roadmap for the sector. The initiative will feature 20 inspirational stories of individuals and 20 business tips from industry experts on each of the channels. A virtual show will be organized in the culmination episode of ‘Mission Saahas’, in which stalwarts of the MSME sector will be honored through an award ceremony.
