News18 Tamil Nadu unveils the mystery behind Kodanad heist-cum-murder case

Riding high on the success of their viral documentary that unmasked the medical procedures that led to the death of the former CM of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa, News18 Tamil Nadu (TN) is back yet again with another exclusive. This time it is a riveting two-hour-long documentary – Operation Kodanad. Uncovering the entire truth, News18 TN is all set to bring to light what actually happened at the CM’s summer abode, a sprawling 900-acre estate in the Nilgiris, and if it is related to the yet-to-be-solved mystery as to what led to the CM’s demise. Slated to go live on News18 Tamil Nadu on 21^st June at 8pm, the ‘Operation Kodanad’ series spread across (number of days) of (hours each) will unravel all the hidden facts and secrets that has never come out in the open before.

Investigative teams of the channel put in their heart and soul, risked their lives to go to the bottom of the mystery that includes the loot of expensive items, important documents, murders, and suicides. Each of the accused involved in the crime have been interviewed. They have revealed everything in detail about what happened that night and the following days that led to a political turmoil and are still cloaked in mystery. Much like how it is around the death of the former CM Jayalalithaa. A beloved figure, affectionately addressed as ‘Amma’ by her ardent followers, her death has left behind numerous unanswered questions. There are also speculations that these two things are somewhat linked. For the uninitiated, the channel got the exclusive interview of the accused, Santosh Samy, from Thrissur, who first revealed that Jayalalithaa’s driver Kanagaraj was murdered and that his accident was not natural.
