NGC eyes at east, launches in Bangla

On the auspicious festive celebration of Durga Puja, National Geographic Channel gears up to reward their Bengali fans with a special gift. National Geographic Channel will now be available 24 hours in Bengali from November 3, 2010 onwards. This will enable them to reach out to a larger spectrum of Bengali viewers in India to `Live Curious' in their own language. After the successful launch of Telugu feed, Nat Geo will now establish a strong foothold in West Bengal. This mega initiative will be promoted by icons of Bengali Television ' the Star Jhalsa celebrities, through a 360 degree marketing campaign.

National Geographic Channel, which is currently available in Hindi, English and Telugu will now also be available in Bengali showcasing the same award winning programs like "Jailed Abroad' & "Air Crash Investigations', to NGC specials like "Great migrations'. The best of NGC specials, events and signature series will now also be available throughout the week, 24x7 in Bengali.

Nat Geo will now be available in Bengali along with Hindi, English and Telugu through distribution affiliates and cable network operators.
