Nick Read to quit Vodafone as the Group CEO

Nick Read, the CEO of Vodafone Group, is going to resign by the end of this year. Margherita Della Valle, the chief financial officer of the Group, will take over the responsibility as the group CEO on an interim basis. Read said in a statement : “I agreed with the board that now is the right moment to hand over to a new leader who can build on Vodafone's strengths and capture the significant opportunities ahead.”
